HEALTHY RAMADHAN

Alhamdulillah, we are already half way through Ramadhan.

The holiest, most anticipated month for us, Muslims, to do some inner reflection, devotion to God and self-control.

And to complete one of the five "pillars" of Islam.

Although some may find fasting for 30 days straight as harsh and difficult, it is in fact an enjoyable experience. Not only do we get to attain our Taqwa (or God-consciousness), but also cleanse both our natural state and Fitrah from any corruption and disobedience. And if you manage to go down a size or two, then it's a bonus for you!

I'm grateful to have not encountered any disturbance nor hurdle while fasting. Thankfully I haven't had any issues this time like I used to in the previous years. No more gassy stomach, sudden unhealthy cravings and whatnot because I have my own "secret weapon".

Hands down the best nutrition that keeps me full and energized all day long. Today's sahur was my first attempt to have Chocolate Oatmeal Shake (literally raw oats + chocolate shake) because I've been tempted to try such combo, and it was delish! Tasted like chocolate cereals. One of the good things about Herbalife is that it is fast, tasty and easy to make. Most importantly, NUTRITIOUS! Especially in this fasting month of Ramadhan. Alhamdulillah, I've been getting quite a lot of compliments lately since the new semester started. Because I know I'm not that consistent (still trying to beat that!), so when people told me they've seen changes here and there, only God knows how happy I am!

Weeee~

My first ever positive feedback I received on the first day of my third semester was from the cafeteria guy. Haha! Boy, he noticed! And my most unforgettable moment, sort of the highlight of the month was a few days ago when I was in a fitting room, trying on my new skinny jeans. I was so surprised and at a loss of words for a few seconds when I found out that I've gone down one size smaller from my ACTUAL size! Like, an inch less than the-smallest-I-could-go size!

And I was like,

"OMG!! Is this really happening?!"

Sure, an inch sounds like pretty much not really a big deal, but that's HUGE to me! I mean, all this while I thought I couldn't shrink my hips any smaller, I was indeed wrong!
