3 DOWN, 2 MORE TO GO

Posted by ♥ aNNa ♥ at 12:47 PM 0 comments
Academic Writing - Jan 2, 2013 (DONE)
Japanese Language (Basic II) - Jan 3, 2013 (DONE)
Oral Communication Strategies - Jan 7, 2013 (DONE)

Now I'm anxious for these two to be over:
HUBUNGAN ETNIK - Jan 10, 2013 (COMING SOON)
ACADEMIC READING - Jan 16, 2013 (COMING SOON)

The first two subjects were tough, to be honest. I knew I could do better than that but it's okay. He knows better. I'll still try my best for these upcoming papers. Which means, more reading and memorizing. Awesome. Pray for my success, okay? xx

FINALS OH FINALS

Posted by ♥ aNNa ♥ at 2:35 AM 2 comments
My Academic Writing paper starts at 0830 (which means I have less than 6 hours to study!) and here I am, blogging and surfing the net worrying over some other "stuff" than revising. Jeez, this is one of the things which I dislike the most every time there is a writing test..

I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO READ!

*mental breakdown*

In fact, I haven't even started revising a single thing up until now, to be honest. How can I be SO DARN RELAXED, trust me, I have no idea myself. Lack of motivation, yadayada... Truth is, I've been saying this all over again for the past two semesters! SIGH.

But all praise be to Allah, He guided me through it.
Alhamdulillah.

Let's just hope for the best this time as well. Oh and for the record, I am actually more concerned about my Japanese Language paper tomorrow (Jan 3rd) so... Wish me luck!

PREPOSITION (AFTER)

Posted by ♥ aNNa ♥ at 1:24 AM 0 comments
Man, it was tough!
I can't remember when was the last time I ever frowned like that.
http://www.emocutez.com
Extremely confusing.

We were given a two-pages text about Sapphires. The choices were simple;
"across, in, under, of, out, beside, to, with"
There were 20 blanks to be filled up.
Choose any of those words correctly to complete the passage.
Sounds simple?
Pfft. Heck no.
NOT AT ALL!

I even changed some of my answers at the last minute.
Well, no point stressing out. I already tried my best.
.HAVE FAITH.

PREPOSITION?

Posted by ♥ aNNa ♥ at 12:01 PM 0 comments
Dear Bloggy,

Today (at 4pm), we'll be having a quiz on Preposition.
It is our second quiz for Foundation English.
*you don't know where I am now, do you?*

Yes, the quiz itself sounds so simple.
Remember when we were young, our teachers taught us PREPOSITIONS?
"The book is on the table."
"Ali is sitting next to Salmah."
"Starbucks is in front of the T.G.I. Friday's."

Okay, ignore the third sentence.
Like that ever happened.

Yeah... Those were the days..
However, I bet this time wont be as easy as the ones we learnt in primary school. If yes, EVEN BETTER!
What I am trying to say is, not that I think I can't score this quiz but to be honest, I can feel that tiny bit of pressure on me already! WHY? Well I (surprisingly) scored flying colours on Quiz 1 (for this subject, of course) and I personally did NOT expect I could get perfect 10!

The quiz was on grammar.... Guess what has changed after that?
"THE EXPECTATION"
Yes, and I certainly do not like it. Ever since that day my friends started to look up to me and whenever there is a quiz, they think I should have no problem in getting full marks!

*anyway i'm humbled*

So... Wish me luck Bloggy!
I'll try my best too.
No pressure.

LONG SILENCE

SIX REASONS why I disappeared.

6 days of fever.
MySpace

Felt so weak, I cried everyday.
MySpace

Recovered one day before midterms, was forced to study.
MySpace

Still having flu & chesty cough; am weak weak weak.
MySpace

Two more papers to go, so study study study.
MySpace

Because of so much pressure, I feel totally homesick.
MySpace

And yes it's true.
I really am homesick...

*I can't believe this either!*
**Just give us a break MSU! Why so selfish??!**

WHAT AM I DOING?!!

Posted by ♥ aNNa ♥ at 12:40 AM 4 comments
Well hellooo TODAY!

In about ....(counting fingers)... less than 14 hours, I'll have this b*mp sitting on a hard chair inside a room-with-air conditioners-that-never-work-well.

It's time for Introduction To Critical Thinking exam people!

And look at what I'm doing now!?
BLOGGING
&
FACEBOOK-ing!

How many quizzes I've taken currently?
Oh that will be THREE.
And soon to be FOUR, FIVE, SIX, SEVEN and EIGHT;
and plus all that ..... (4+5+6+7+8 = ...).. gives me...
Wow!
30!!

GOOD. GOOD. GOOD.

Keep on keyboard-tapping my dear.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Waaa.....

How can I help that, can somebody tell me?
Seriously I have no mood to study today.

What I did during the day was;
  • Cramping all my bones out (instead of my a*s out!),
  • Facebook-ing and YM-ing..,
  • Phone-calling and some laundry-ing.., (I know I messed all the proper words)
  • Pasar Malam-ing and Giant-ing..,
  • SMS-ing and yeah, what else?
Now I'm glued to the screen with no mercy for revising.
-sigh-
*a very big sigh*

I think it's the mood of meeting someone that interests me more than keeping the notes open in sight.
Or maybe because the joy of going back home after months, to meet my sisters (especially) that blocks my logical view for studying some knowledge-based of sheets.

You think so?

Okay enough for now.
It's impossible (nothing is impossible you said? No no no. This soul needs rest!) to keep my mind focus if I start skimming some.

So what I need to do is to;
  • get some space for myself to fight with the mood,
  • chill chill chill and CHILL,
  • let the time passes...
Then few hours later after a peaceful sheep-counting, no no no, blackberry-counting... (hoho... much better), I'll get this lazy b*mp off my bed and start revising.

I HAVE TO.

Remind me that, people.

P/s: Luckily this evening paper is not THAT tough. *I hope.*
So Pray for me!

SO LONG "HISTORY"!!

Posted by ♥ aNNa ♥ at 11:15 PM 5 comments
FINALLY.

Okay. Time to pile all up! ;)

God, how relieved I am to at last being able to say "BYE-BYE!" to Malaysian Studies. Am thankful too for what I did just now. Yea, there were some questions which I "tibai" especially Part A.

Dasar Aparteid and I was like;
..................... *ternganga*
~~~~flies coming in~~~~
Pftt! Pfftt!! Tuiih! *hampeh nye lalat*
Well, was slightly head-wired few minutes before I went inside the examination room (Yes you heard me. We only have ROOMS here. No big halls, no lecture halls etc. See? Even MY school is h*ll LOT better than MSU!! The hall is exclusively WIDE, in terms of wide WIDE... And the door itself! Hoho.. Costs thousands! Yea, MSU. I'm saying YOU.) Hahaha.
Okay long story short, I was sort of 'ambushed' by this oh-it-is-time-now-and-no-one-is-allowed-to-have-extra-revisions prefect who was very kind to really open the exam room door and look down the stairs where I
was standing (as I was intentionally chilling out for extra time revising --- I was actually SKIMMING through my last notes okayyy...); quickly urged me to enter the room as everyone has started writing down answers so I was like D*MN! She messed it up THANKYOUSOMUCH!
I'm sure if she wasn't that "skema" to
kindly walk outside of the room and do some google-ing for someone who is smart like me! (erghh...) then I wont get that sudden blank! Man.. Trust me it was a real heart-tensed. I forgot the most easiest points I can repeatedly spit them all out!
Anyways, al
hamdulillah after some sort of brain-squeezing, head-banging and mind-torturing, God helped me 5 MINUTES before the exam ended.
Gee.. I will never get such panic again. NEVER.
Before went home, filled my empty tank at KFC as a little treat (borrringg.....!!) then did some iPod tappings-and-flickings...
And yeah. No more wordy facts man.
That's a real cleanser =)
At least the Nacho Chips flavours my appetite.
So basically, there's two more subjects left.
  • Introduction To Critical Thinking
  • Sociology in Education
Well Socio scares me more than the I.T.C.T. ..
Don't know how the questions will look like.
Since we don't have mid-term for that subject, only final, so I'm quite clueless.
Okay.
POSITIVE Farhana.
POSITIVE.
.........................................ikan.. kura-kura.. dugong...
teett teett...!!
Eh, POSI... what?
P.O.S.I.T.I.V.E. YOU F*OL!
Err...
.................................................................
POSITIVE.
Okay.
POSITIVE.
.................................................................
Well...
BRING THEM ON!!!
