Well, the pictures are in my Facebook album, so if you are not in my Friend List, my bad, you won't be able to view them. Scratch that, this one is for you.

A sneak peak, sort of.

I'M FWEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Posted by ♥ aNNa ♥ at 1:58 PM 0 comments
Quick update:

I'm sad for the students (really) but after 2 years and 9 months of waiting, struggles and hard work, all I can say is that:

"WOOHOOOOOOO!
I'M FWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!"

MySpace

Praise be to Allah.
*jumps with joy!*

P/s: More updates. SOON!

THEY SANG ME A SONG!

Posted by ♥ aNNa ♥ at 12:47 AM 0 comments

Received a song dedication from the students!
LIVE!
MySpace

OH-EM-GEE.
How adorable!

They created the song by themselves.
Even though I couldn't really understand what the song was about but there were a few lines where they said I will go to back to my university, they cry because they don't want me to, etc.
Hahaha.
MySpace
Thank you all so very much, kids.

*I tried to upload the video but thanks to P1, it's impossible*

"TEACHER DON'T LEAVE!"

Posted by ♥ aNNa ♥ at 5:28 PM 0 comments
I have been receiving more and more farewell cards, souvenirs and presents since last week and mind you, there are more to come!
An unstoppable celebration, I'd say.
MySpace
Haha.

This is what I got for today
Nyum nyummm...

Jeez, these students are so kind.
Frankly, I didn't expect to receive this kind of farewell celebration either - what's more in this fasting month. I am pretty sure that cards are now essential since they cannot do any party in respect to Ramadhan. Besides, some students are being so schweet they give me everyday-cards each time! Seriously.
MySpace
LOL.

I have hundreds of "I'm going to miss you", "I love Teacher Farhana", "Please don't leave" wishes now. Especially those in Year 3 (I only teach them Pendidikan Kesihatan!), they beg me not to leave them every time they see me.
MySpace
They will hug me whenever they get the chance to, and some even asked for my signature like I'm a celebrity or something!
Aww. I'm indeed touched.

My third last day of school

How cute!

But I bet, once the new teacher comes, they will forget me whether you like it or not.

FINALLY!

Posted by ♥ aNNa ♥ at 4:52 PM 2 comments

She came.
She came!

Who?
Her.

Her who?
Her.
Yes, her.
My lecturer!

Bhahahaha.

<span class=

Oh sorry, I couldn't help it!
.
.
.
.
Okay, so she came to observe me.
Promise made, promise granted.
So that's that.
That's all that matters.

Do you want to know why?
Come to think of it, wasn't that FUNNY that she only came on my very second last week of practicum? That that was on my very final class with the students since next week is their exam week? That that was the one and only observation from her since the past three months?
Funny, wasn't it?

Come on.
It's fasting month and these are the only words I could think of.
WEAK and HUNGRY!
<span class=

To tell the truth, I was quite scared, yes scared - not nervous, that the students would not give their full cooperation in class when she was around but h*ck, they did GOOD. If I could hug each and every one of them I swear I would! They paid attention to whatever I said which was oddly amusing. Not that they weren't before but this time, it was better.
*Ah you saved the day, kids!*

Italic
The only thing that came across my mind before that was,
"Is it okay to give these students a group work?"
<span class=

I am not going to lie but yes, the students always make noise when it comes to group work. They tend to argue. Some are too shy and some are just talkative they don't want others to contribute anything. Jeez! Not to mention the passive ones. Mind you, these are all good students. They have a lot of ideas. It's just that they don't know how to share their thoughts. They like to argue because they want to get the attention. They want to show who's the best among all.
To prove that,
"Teacher, teacher. Tell us who won the best group!"
EVERY TIME.

Well, that's how kids are.
That, too, maybe how I was back then.
*Was I?*

Okay, scratch that. Haha.

Somehow, these students didn't look like they were fasting after all!
Seriously. I remember how I was on the first day of puasa.
I didn't take my sahur like I should (I simply took two gulps of mineral water - have I mentioned that I missed my dinner the day before?) and that's it. So it was all gloomy and energy-less during the day I felt like I'm a 9-year-old kid! Even the students themselves were energetic. Pfft! I wished that I was a cellphone so I could just recharge myself with a simple plug-in. It was dreadful, indeed! It took me forever to get to the top floor to 5 Baiduri!
<span class=

I swear I will consume lots and lots of food when breaking my fast so that I still have some storage until sahur, ever since. Haha.
.
.
.
Okay, so we got a little way out of topic.
=P

Now, back to my observation thingy.
Say YEAAAAYY!
<span class=
She liked it!
She told me that I did everything from the lesson plan.
She complimented my way of handling the class.
She said I have a loud voice which is good.
She told me that the activity was fun and I managed to get the students' attention. She praised my lesson plans saying that they were all done so perfectly in order following the schema.
To conclude everything she said,
"I think I have no comment about you. Yes, no comment."

So was that a good sign?
God's will.
Amin..

*Truly satisfied*

And so I went home good mood and collapsed soon after I found my bed...
<span class=
Zzz.

PAK PAK GEBUNG GEBUNG!

HURRY! HURRY! HURRY!

Where's the ring?
Where's my songkok?
Did you see my sampin?

Smile bigger!
Look at here!
*snap snap*

For some reason, I wonder what my friend's doing now.
Her wedding is tomorrow.
GASP!
I can imagine the blissful chaos in her house at this moment.
All the tepak sirih, bunga telur and whatnot.

The chit-chatters, the henna-ing experience.
Woohoo!

I guess I'm pretty excited because this is the first friend's wedding of mine in 22 years!
I bet they both can't stop smiling right now.

So hooray!

Posted by ♥ aNNa ♥ at 3:11 AM 3 comments

Oh my God I just found back this song somewhere
and it hits me hard on the memory box!

I used to sing this song hundreds of times few years ago.
Now that I nearly forgot, I decided to put it in my playlist instead!
Would you like to join me? :)

Listening to this song is like bringing me back to the year of 2001.
Yes, I was still in that light blue-white uniform.
I took Japanese Language during my secondary school and that was because everyone in the school were asked to take ONE foreign language at that time.
It was a boarding school; I think you get it.

I remember standing at the back of the teachers block near the hall in SSPKL with all my Japanese classmates.
*No they were not exactly JAPANESE, but those who took the subject! lol*

You can get the translation here

Our Japanese SUBJECT teacher, Nadimin Sensei taught us the song.

We learnt it lyric by lyric; had difficulties to memorize them, though.
*Haha. Of course*
The best part I could remember was that all of us, with struggle, trying to spell back all the Japanese pronunciations using the alphabets so we knew how to pronounce it! Haha.
What to expect from us, the extremely-under-weak-level students!
Duh.

(^,^)

Nevertheless, we even sang the song in front of the REAL Japanese students!
*They had this exchange program where the REAL Japanese students came to our school to learn the Malaysian culture and whatnot*
It sure was fun!
They even gave us a big applause, maybe for singing the song sounding professional?
Haha. I had no idea.

Frankly speaking, that was the FIRST Japanese song I learnt during Form 1 and still remember exactly how to sing correctly for A song like that and umm...
Yes, I really miss school...

CAN WE TURN BACK TIME?

Posted by ♥ aNNa ♥ at 3:12 AM 4 comments
(I made this note in my Facebook profile)

SUBJECT:
Mimie is missing all her Herculean 0105 mates, and same goes to me.
OBJECTIVE: Go and Tag OUR FRIENDS because maybe, they forget.

So yeah, here's what I replied her in her blog which I think I want every of you know that there ARE those who really care about what has passed.

*************************************************

"Yeah.. School life rocks! Never mind the lame blue-white uniform, the most hated juniors the whole 5 years! *HAHAH* but seriously that was the greatest life ever!

It was the moment where we cried whenever we wanted to, we screamed whenever we felt like throwing all out loud, laughed evilly like no devil can challenge *haha. ok exaggerated, i know* but yeah, I personally miss that too..

I miss all of the sempoi and ikot-suka-aku-lah herculeans!! Like these years after we left school, despite of everything that has changed, I also admit that being young and devilish was really fun and stress-free. TOTALLY.

Anyhow Mimie, I wish I can be there for you by now too, but hey, what's so powerful than a true friendship can do, isn't it? We learn everything by heart, believe whatever that comes to us, and we'll succeed. Ok?

Jaoh di mata, dekat di hati mimi..."

******************************************************************

Remember all those promises we used to say couple days (or even weeks or months?) before we finally left school? When we shook our friends' hands in the sense that "this might be the last time we hold each others' hands" or that "I'm going to miss you and please don't forget me"??

Or maybe the very popular phrase which I still doubt till now whether it was a trend, or a tradition, but it naturally came out from our mouth that says, "FRIENDS FOREVER"?

So WHERE are those promises then?

Well, Mimie did tell me about how she wished she will never be an adult because she thinks that every moment with YOU GUYS really made her day and it was the best-est moment in her life ever that she missed it so badly. Can't you pay some respect to Mimie, give her some comfort so she won't be so cloudy? She misses you! Yes, YOU! HERCULEANS!

In fact, I do miss my Herculeans too. What I think about more often when I tell my friends about YOU is that how we proudly woke up late in the morning for everyday assembly and sneaked in to the dining hall for the hot bihun Pak Cik Sudip made us while lepak-ing at back of the DM pretending that we were innocent, and that the HEAD STUDENT of our own batch would always find it hard to chase us out early because we were SO COOL we loved to break rules? Never mind the PREFECTS! lol.

Also during the morning assembly which was one of the most boring events every school has created we tend to make full use of it by at least, continue sleeping or chit-chatting even if it was held while we were standing, we didn't give a d*mn about it.

Not to mention the World War or "VaVi" issue (sorry Millie, I borrow that word from you! Hihi) and what not, do agree WE were actually having fun! Hahah. I know, YOU're good, and I'm bad, YOU're studious, and I'm playful. But hey, don't YOU think that is what connect US? YOU skipped class, SHE covered it for YOU. YOU missed your homework, SHE gave YOU the copy. YOU ate in class, SHE pretended not to see. YOU slept in surau, SHE gave YOU gentle massage on your neck. We were so one happy FAMILY, aren't WE?

Or maybe, too, during the moment where all of US, the KIDS, *uh-uh, don't say you were not! NOT!* in the school fought for cheer-lyrics or steps or spots for practicing marching just for the sake of our yes-i-am-proud-to-be-Rubian/Emeraldian/Topazian/Sapphirean?? (lol) spirits?

Or or during YOU put on a sour face on your sweet kiddish look because SHE stole your favourite senior? Or YOU claimed SHE was betraying you by stealing your weyh-cutenyeee-budak-tu junior? Hahaha. Don't think you forget! :))

Well it's true WE ALL have our own lives now and LIFE should always MOVE ON. But come to think about it, are we agree to just let the memories go? What if we die tomorrow? Today? Or tonight? Or maybe right after we finish reading this? *Na'uzubillah....*

No I don't blame YOU for being busy. I understand the condition too. Besides, we ARE part of the world's history. We have our own agenda, we want the best for our own future, AND we're living life to the fullest! Mind you, I am too. But I know, sometimes, YOU think the same way just like Mimie and I did as well. Good to know then. So FRIENDS FOREVER? No. Seriously?? lol.

Yup. Jauh di mata, dekat di hati~~~

****************************************************

Dearest Readers, I know you have your own bittersweet during your schooldays too. Well, haven't you noticed how long have you been letting all those memories to slowly fading?
Like how long? Come on.. Let's count.
Um... One to three years ago? Five to seven years? What? Like 10 to 15 years, maybe?
Okay stop counting. lol.
Why not you write that down as well so we both can share? :)
