I notice as I get older, most of the things I like are pricier and I have no idea why. But you know what, it's never wrong to dream big.

Note: Received one of the two items on my last year's wishlist a couple of months ago and was indeed thrilled! Something similar, but way waaaaayy better. Thank you for making me feel so special. You know who you are.. :)

NEW MEMBER?

Did you see how clear the sky was today?

It felt so nice to be able to see the puffy clouds and beautiful blue sky again after so many days being covered in smoke haze. All praise be to Allah for the rain.

Anyway, guess what?

I'M HOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMME!!

Today's highlight:

Boo picked me up (and my other 6 enormous luggage!) at UKM and sent me home!

I'm touched!

Another highlight of the day is that he also spent some time with my family, picked mangosteen from the tree, had tea, did jama'ah prayer with my dad for Maghrib (omg!), and later joined us for dinner. Wow, didn't he seem like a family already?

By the way, did you know that Mangosteen is called the Queen of Tropical Fruits, after Durian as the King?

Sweet, juicy, and tangy.
*salivates*

Okay. Enough drooling.
*wipes saliva off chin*


My real problem now is:

What on earth will I do for the next 3 months?

I've been seriously hesitating to blog about something, but I don't know. I think I'll just take some (more) time to write about it. Hehe.

So I received the little surprise Boo had sent me this afternoon and guess what? YES, it is something made from cloth! Haha. But NO, it's not a dress. DEFINITELY not a phone either. Sadly.

Zalora, huh? Pfft! RIGHT...

Well worry nothing. That parcel did make me smile, nonetheless. Hihi. I almost forgot that Boo had recently returned from China several weeks ago (work call) so the "little" surprise he meant was actually part of the souvenirs he bought for me while he was there.

A t-shirt, and a fridge magnet!

Oh, wait! There's a card too!

Nahhh.. You don't wanna know what's in there. Hehehe.

He did wish me Selamat Hari Raya, too, so I guess that makes it the first Kad Raya I got after years! You know nobody uses cards anymore these days since we have emails, Facebook, Twitter and whatnot so the card seems so special it almost brought me to tears!

Awwhhhh....

I'm so touched. Besides, it somehow brings back a lot of memories of the two of us when we were younger where we used to send each other letters and cards until we both grew up and become adults. Ah... I miss those days. Thanks Boo Boo for the lovely souvenirs. I even haven't had the chance to wear the ones you gave me when you were in Korea! Hihi. Thanks for always keeping me in your thoughts. I really appreciate it.

SURPRISES, SURPRISES

Boo just called me since Celcom is kind enough to bar my phone today (sad life, I know) and we talked about plenty of things. From his flu to our diet (will blog about this one day, insyaAllah) and to my family’s new home progress. Then there was this one time when he told me there will be a surprise tomorrow before I go back to KK (well it’s like a weekly thing now since we have two homes). Boy did he get me anxious just thinking about it!

I mean, I love surprises!

But one thing I don’t like about it is the CURIOSITY.

What is it?

Is it big?

How much does it cost?

IS IT A PHONE?

Nay.. Probably not.

I guessed “FLOWERS” because as sweet as he already is, he used to send me a couple of times during the days when I least expected but he said “Nope.” So I asked him to spill some beans, or at least give me some clues but that guy just kept on laughing and laughing… so I had to pretend like I didn’t really care what kind of surprise that he sent me.

But, before we hung up, again he reminded me about it and I was like “Aaaaaaaaaa JUST TELL ME ALREADY!” which made him laugh hysterically...Cis, you enjoyed that every minute, didn't you? Anyway long story short, by the time I almost gave up, he told me that it is something small, “nothing much” and from Zalora.

*puts on my thinking cap*

OH! OH! A DRESS?

Butttttt I guess not.

You know why? Because he never buys a dress for me on his own. In fact, when  we go shopping together, it is me who will be doing all the “this one. no, no, this one’s better. hmm, too dull. too big. next!” Be it mine, or his. Jeez, this is why I hate riddles! Puzzles, or whatever. Too much thinking!

Well, lower your expectation, Anna. That might not be it. You’ll just have to wait and see. Yeah, just wait and see. Anyway, thanks Boo for always trying to make me happy. In case you are reading this, I am. Always am. Surprise or no surprise, thank you.

But surprises are better. Ngee.

P/s: He said he still has another surprise for me after Raya (OMG!), and the clues for that one are “HEAVY” and “should be hand-handed”. I wonder what that is..

Ah… Seeeeee? I’m thinking again!
